Our visit to Matilda’s will be one of my favourite life memories ever! This was the first family dinner we’ve had in years and years, and the service at Matilda’s made it such a beautiful experience. The location is prime, the customer service was FANTASTIC, the food was divine, and the overall vibe was immaculate (especially the 70’s playlist). This was one of my favourite dining experiences ever and we will be back every time we visit Nambucca!! Thank you chefs and wait staff for such a delightful night ❤️

I wanted to come last year but we arrived too late in Nambucca — this stop over, it was compulsory. Friendly team, fresh seasonal produce and changing menu, and a mix of new and classic flavours. I wish every Aussie surf town had a “Matilda’s”!

If you like to work hard to get your food and drinks when eating out, then this is what you've come for... bring back table service......guide/train the young staff so they can work in the hospitality industry when they leave the region. Our initial service was good. Pizza over priced and terrible. Beer was warm and for what was meant to be a larger.. it was cloudy and fruity.

Lovely restaurant overlooking the river with indoor and outdoor seating. The chauterie board we had was very nice but needed some crackers and cheese with the meats. The prosciutto pizza was delicious. Good drinks selection as well. We recommend this casual restaurant.

I love Matilda's courtyard when the sun is shining, it has a real holiday feel to it. We found this place by accident and were pleased with it's offerings. I had kingfish sashimi and the best fresh salad with hemp seeds. My partner had a pizza, the dough was a bit undercooked and she said she'd had better.
